Our 316L stainless steel grounding rings provide a reliable electrical reference for electromagnetic flow meters by maintaining continuous contact with the process fluid. Installed as a wafer‑style component between ANSI flanges, grounding rings help stabilize electrode reference potential and improve measurement accuracy in systems with lined or non‑conductive piping.

Designed to fit between standard ANSI flanges without modifying existing piping or meter components, our grounding rings do not interfere with the flow meter bore, pressure rating, or performance when installed using standard full‑face gaskets. Smooth, deburred edges help protect gaskets and liners during installation, while corrosion‑resistant materials support continuous service in water and wastewater treatment environments.

Each grounding ring includes an integral grounding tab with a pre‑drilled hole for simple bonding to plant ground in accordance with applicable electrical codes and flow meter manufacturer recommendations. Grounding rings are available for pipe sizes ranging from 1″ to 18″ NPS, are designed for ANSI Class 150 flanges, and are suitable for installation in both horizontal and vertical piping orientations.
