Orifice Plates

Our restricting orifice plates provide a simple, economical method of creating a predictable pressure drop and flow restriction within pressurized piping systems. Installed as a wafer-style component between standard ANSI flanges, restricting orifice plates are commonly used to limit flow, dissipate pressure, reduce downstream system loading, and balance hydraulic conditions in water, wastewater, industrial process, and utility piping applications.

Designed to fit between standard ANSI Class flanges without modifying existing piping, our restricting orifice plates feature a precision-machined square-edge concentric bore to provide consistent hydraulic performance and reliable operation.

Restricting orifice plates are available in pipe sizes ranging from 2" through 12" NPS and are offered with multiple standard bore diameters per pipe size to accommodate a wide range of flow restriction requirements.
